Wednesday April 27, 2011.

Today was a very busy but very good day!!! We started our day with making words in English. The big word was "alligator". After making words we did day #3 of dictados. We had our break apart sentence to do. We had our morning meeting in English. Mrs. Helfer had writen a lot of mistakes in her message. We then had our daily 5 routines and started math before Specials. We went to Library and Art and came back to finish math. First graders worked on pennies, nickles and dimes. Second graders worked on making change with $5.00. We went to lunch and then went outside for a walk around the school to enjoy the nice weather. We came back to a read aloud on Barack Obama and Shakira. We began our unit on biographies and explored books that helped us learn about the characteristics of biographies.
Tomorrow we have P.E and Music so don't forget your sneakers.

See you tomorrow.
