Wednesday, November 4th

Today we learned what is air. Air is made up of invisible gases. In Math, we learned about rectangles, squares, and triangles. Rectangles have two longer sides and two shorter sides. A square has four equal sides and four corners. A triangle has three sides and three corners. Green Gators learned how to represent addition quickly threw drawings. We also worked on number of the day, 18 (even) and 33 (odd). In Writing workshop we practiced adding more detail to our pictures and stories. We also learned that writing never ends. When you're done, you've only just begun. We did our daily five and worked on thinking about our characters when we read. Describing them in detail, who they are, they're characteristics. We also talked about how we feel when we go to bed. The amount of people that our happy at bed time is greater than the number of people that are sad.
