Another busy day for the red rhinos and green gators. We started our morniong with our walking field trip to Barnard Fire Department. It was a 1.4 mile walk, but we all made it! At the firehouse we got to see fireman Dean get dressed up in his fire gear. After that we went into the garage of the firehouse and learned all about the different fire trucks and equipment. We saw the ladder truck, the pumper truck, the rescue truck, and squad truck. After our field trip we spent the afternoon doing word study (look, say, cover, write, check) and practicing our daily five rouitnes.
