Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday :-)
Today, again we sang and practiced with our Kindergarten friends!
We learned a new math routine- Number of the Day book. Todays number was 7. We came up with number sentences that equal 7, and also used money to get to 7cents. (Nickel and 2 pennies, 5+2=7) We will be doing this everyday after recess!
We did guided discovery of markers. Together as a class we learned how good citizens use markers in the classroom- close the markers and listen for the snap, do not leave markers on the table, etc.
We practiced two different ways to read a book- Reading the pictures or reading the words! We had a volunteer show us the right and wrong way to do this :-)
Mrs. Gearhart showed us a powerpoint about how to be a good EV student!

Yea The blog is up!!! I can't tell you how happy I am to have this available to me to see what my daughters do during their school day. If I was to ask them they would surely reply, "Nothing"
