Friday, September 25th

Today we started our day with morning meeting in Spanish. The question of the day was How many people did you bring with you to Open House... We learned that the greatest number of students brought one person with them to Open House last night. After our morning meeting, we worked on completing our Clock Buddies. We now have a buddy for every hour on the clock. This will help us find a partner (that we have each chosen) quickly in the upcoming days. We ended our monring with a visit form Mrs. DeCaire. Mrs. DeCaire comes from the Department of Motor Vehicles and teach us about safety. Today she taught us about bus safety. Ask your child to share with you what they learned about how to stay safe on the school bus.

In the afternoon, we had a chilly recess:> and then came in to complete our number of the day book. Today's number was 13. We made 13 cents from 13 pennies and from a dime and three pennies. After Number of the Day, we awarded the trophy to the most organized team. Congratulations to the Red table for earning the greatest number of table points this week. We also count the objects in the estimation jar. There was 135 pieces of candy in the jar this week. Congratulations to Noel and Jordon who won the candy this week.
